COUNCILOR (ARGENTINA) Member of the Council of the International Foundation of Architects ARCHITECT, FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL OF IGNACIO MONTALDO ARQUITECTOS
Ignacio Montaldo was born in 1975. Graduated in architecture in 2003 from the Buenos Aires University‘s Architecture Design and Urbanism Faculty. Since 2004, He runs his own studio set up as an open space to associations and different types of cooperation for project developing. The office has a flexible and dynamic working structure, and has developed works and projects of various themes and scales which have been exhibited, published and awarded in Argentine and abroad. He’s currently teaching in the 4th year at Buenos Aires University and in the 1st year in Di Tella University.
I understand architecture as a cultural practice on the physical world whose purpose is improving the quality of people’s life.
