"The successful transformation of this former tannery school is due to the unapologetic and candidly  expressive industrial addition made of concrete, glass and pre-weathered metal...  It is a robust design that defines its street corner, and explores the industrial nature of the original  building as inspiration for the new." AIA Jury Citation.
