The Children's Art Event: “Me and my Family”

THIS PROJECT WAS FOCUSED ON KEY TREND OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHILD ARTISTIC ABILITIES.

More than 500 children aged 4 to 8 years old took part in the art event “Me and my family.” Many parents and teenagers took part in the preparation of the children’s art exhibition. Many Korean churches have served as the physical platform for this event.

The selection of young talent was a dynamic and complex process. The most interesting thing was how each child saw him/her self and his/her family life in colors, shapes, and movements.

Through the expressive colorful imagery of children, we can clearly see and understand the importance of parents in their lives. From the first minutes of life, children depend on a mother and father who love, feed, and protect them. Most of the images of these children clearly demonstrate how the family structure is important to them on an intuitive level, and that the type of family structure that helps children the most is one headed by a biological mother and father in a low or non-conflictual marriage.
