Sadao Watanabe born in Tokyo in 1913 Japanese artist and printmaker, one of the most prolific and surprising Christian Japanese illustrator of the 20th century, whose exuberant and bizarre fantasy created vast Gospel scenes widely emulated by Japanese style.
